A very special herb and mushroom hike on 04.08.2023
What is growing there? The power of wild herbs ♥
This time I was booked by vacation guests from the Netherlands for an exclusive hike . The small family with the two children was very, very nice and we got along great.

We roamed the forest, the fields and the nearby moor.
In addition to many, many mushrooms, which is very unusual for this time of year, there were also exciting plants to marvel at.
I have never seen so many green button mushrooms in one spot, the whole path was lined with them, beautiful to look at but also absolutely deadly.
Also “Witches” and Woodear were already to be found.

In a shady spot in the forest was even still woodruff to find, also very unusual.
It was also great fun to make plant tattoos from the juice of the celandine, and the plantane was allowed to show the children what it can do in a careless encounter with the stinging nettle.

The parents spoke perfect German and the kids were totally cute and eager to explore.
It was really very exciting, at a badger hole we found probably the skull of a fox, I didn’t even know that there are badgers in our country.
In the forest we found a ship built from branches.

The family still prepared a meal from the finds, unfortunately I could not accept the invitation because I still had an appointment at the office.
