Quick and tasty, something different

Very simple, delicious and easy recipe. Celery is often only known as an ingredient in soup vegetables, but it is much more versatile than you think and really tasty too.

Ingredients celery cutlets:

  • 1 celeriac
  • some flour
  • some breadcrumbs
  • some salt
  • dryed herbs

Ingredients yoghurt-garlic dip:

  • 2-3 EL yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp. creme fraiche
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • some salt

Preparation of celery cutlets:

Peel the celery and cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
Simmer in a pot of water for about 10 minutes.
Leave to drain.
Mix the breadcrumbs with salt and herbs, whisk the egg and prepare the flour, each in an extra plate.
Turn first in flour, then in egg and finally in the breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with a little oil.

Preparation Dip:

Finely slice the cucumber or use the pomace from juicing.
Mix the yoghurt and crème fraîche.
Peel the garlic cloves and press them into the dip.
Add the salt and mix everything well.

Good success 🙂
