Preserving cucumbers

Perfect with savoury cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecues …

Ingredients for approx. 200 ml:

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 80 g honey
  • 20 g Raw cane sugar
  • 100 ml Apple cider vinegar

Preparation:

Finely dice the cucumber and onions and chop the garlic.

Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil briefly over a high heat. Then boil down over medium heat until the desired consistency is reached.

Pour hot into clean preserving jars and turn upside down for about 10 minutes until the jar has drawn vacuum.

Can be kept in the fridge for approx. 2 months.

Chop the garlic and onions

Put the cucumbers, onions, garlic and the rest of the ingredients in a pot.

Place in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients

Boil down all ingredients together

Then prepare
