Animal visit

A wonderful and very exciting herb walk with a surprising visit.

This time too, contrary to all forecasts, the weather gods were more than merciful and I had some great participants.

In bright sunshine, we set off at around 2 p.m. and, as always, there were many beautiful things to discover.

Among other things, we found and discussed these beautiful plants:

Mullein, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Black mullein (Verbascum nigrum)

Mädesüß, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)

wilder Thymian, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Wild thyme (Thymus serpyllum)

Johanniskraut, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum)

Tansy, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare)

Ribwort, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata)

Yarrow, Kräuterzauberin, Nicole Weimert

Rare butterfly (Lesser Firefly)

At the picnic we had an unexpected, trusting and deeply relaxed visit from “Lotte” 💞😘🦋🌿🙏 a Galloway lady. Simply beautiful.

For dinner, we had vegetarian wraps with couscous vegetable filling and cheesecake. The tea was a herbal blend of lavender, lime and rose petals and citronella grass, as well as a wild berry tea with woodruff.

I am very grateful for being able to do and live this and look forward to the next time.
