Fairy tale beautiful
Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia)
A very rare, beautiful mushroom in our country. Naturally, this is why it remained unharmed in the forest.
I have found it once in a sandy spruce forest and not since.
This mushroom has no stem and is one of the very few mushrooms that can be eaten raw, e.g. in a salad.
In Siberia and Finland, I once heard that it is customary to drink booze from it. I don’t know anything more about it.
Important!
Here too, as always:
The mushrooms presented here and their description NEVER represent a food release!!!! Please always consult a mushroom expert if you cannot determine a mushroom 100%! Because even 99% certainty can be fatal!!!
