Delicious and colourful

This bread not only has a great colour and is fluffy, it also tastes great plain with butter, with savoury or sweet toppings.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g peeled pumpkin flesh (variety to taste)
  • 125 ml milk or oat milk
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cube yeast
  • 1 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 400 g flour
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 50 g pumpkin or sunflower seeds
  • some sesame seeds for sprinkling
  • 1 tsp (herb-)salt

Preparation:

Cook the pumpkin flesh until soft and then puree.
Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in the (oat) milk and let stand until bubbles form.
Mix the pumpkin puree with the flour, salt, butter (margarine), oat flakes and seeds. Then add the yeast-milk mixture, knead everything well and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 1 hour.
Place the dough in a loaf tin or shape it as desired and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Do not preheat the oven and bake the pastry at 170°C for 40 – 50 minutes.

Good success 🙂
